Happy lamb is always in my heart. Their food is quality, their selection of veggies is phenomenal (though tong ho is a guessing game). The staff are friendly and attentive. The kicker? It's such a great value. Even with the price increase, where else can you get delicious, reliable AYCE hotpot with delicious broths for $22.99?
I have tried othe Happy Lamb hot pot but I like this location better. Mainly because I like their buffet set up and they have more choices of what to put in to your hot pot. I love thier broth but all the things they put in your broth to make it the hearty amd tasty broth becomes annoying bec they get in the way when you're scooping it. I like the meat choices even if its the just the regular one. The service is good, the staff are friendly and what I like the best is that they dont have time limit when you dine in. They also have ample space for psrking so that's a plus. Try to ho here at around 430 before it gets really packed if you're trying to go here on a weekend.
Waiting was a bit long But definitely worth it The meats quality is awesome The sides the ice cream everything made me want to come back
It's kind of hard to complain about a $19.99 AYCE hot pot lunch special. For the finicky, the meat quality is nothing special, the soup ingredient offerings, hot deli, and sauce bar are customary of any hot pot spot (ha), and the service is familiarly indifferent, but the value is unbeatable. I personally swear by the spicy marrow broth, lamb, and beef short plate. There is an additional $1.99 charge for unlimited fountain soda and sauce bar access, but as my mom shows, you don't really need those to get your money's worth. Rush hour seating can lead to some long wait times, so I recommend coming earlier or later than 12-1 to avoid the crowds. Cap off your meal with some soft serve and you're good to go. Reliable and yummy.
Happy Lamb Hot Pot is an all you can eat hot pot buffet. My wife and I came for lunch. Got seated right away, ordered the broth, and off to take the over the counter food we go! The ambience is okay, it is not high end but clean. The dual broth which both my wife and I shared seemed a little salty but not overly strong where we needed to change broth but it is definitely to note if you have a preference of a lighter palate of taste. The service itself is fast, almost all of the items we ordered from the menu came pretty quickly. The items we went and got ourselves were plentiful and they refilled them pretty quickly when the quantity of an item gets low. The dipping sauce is made available for you to take toward the back where you have plenty of choice in mixing it the way you prefer. Do keep in mind that they do charge a "sauce fee" so don't be surprised when the bill comes with it being added on. Although this kinda sucks for us but the soft drinks are included with refills so I guess it wasn't that bad. We were in and out in a hour coming out satisfied. Happy Lamb Hot Pot is a solid choice for a hot pot place for lunch. Like most Chinese food, there is MSG added to the broth so expecting yourself to drink plenty of fluids afterward is important. If you are like us and you don't mind a little bit of MSG every now and then, this spot is a pretty cool place to be if you're in the area and are craving hot pot!
We came for dinner and waited half an hour. During that time, we walked around the plaza. There's a daiso and a grocery market. When we were notified that our table was ready, we went back to the restaurant but had to wait another ten ish minutes or more for the table to be ready. They have individual pots or big pot to share. We chose big pot so we didn't have to wait. The waiter brought us to this table in the back that was literally facing the sun and I lowkey started having a migraine. They don't have blinds and we asked to switch tables and he never came back so we just moved to the table a staff just finished cleaning lol. The area where you grab hot pot sides is really narrow so it was hard when a lot of people want some stuff. For the fried appetizers, they don't refill it frequently. The meat was pretty good. The other servers were nice and took our orders. The sour cabbage broth is my favorite. It was a bit salty so we added water lol. There's an ice cream machine but the ice cream is an icy texture but I did not mind that. The restroom was ok. There's a parking lot.
We love hot pot, so when I found one around our area, I was so excited. Once we got there, we put our name on the guest list. There was a short wait, and it was busy on a Sunday night, so that is always a good sign. The staff was really kind and accommodating. Their soups are different from other hot pot restaurants. There are a lot of herbs and spices and I got the spicy soup, which was a good spicy! The variety of meats and vegetables was impressive and I like that they have the cooked food at the buffet area for us to get. For an additional $1.99, you get access to the soft drinks, ice cream and sauce bar, which is a great deal and the ice cream is a nice treat for the kids afterwards. The restaurant was bustling with a lot of customers. The restaurant is not too big, as it can get crowded, but there was space to move around. I enjoyed the sauce area because there were so many items to concoct a delicious sauce. I loved the different parts of the anatomy (such as pig ears and tripe). Overall, everything was great.
I recently dined at Happy Lamb and had an exceptional experience. This hot pot restaurant offers a variety of soup bases and portion sizes to cater to different preferences. We tried the tomato, spicy, and hot and sour soups, all of which were delicious and full of flavor. The lamb shank is a MUST GET item. It has a nice thin crisp on the outside and just shreds easily on the inside. A truly happy lamb experience. Service was great. Shoutout to Bernardo who gave us an extra table because he saw ours was full of plates, and he split the soup into two for us. Will be back here again for another happy round of AYCE hotpot!
This happy lamb location has always been my favorite! The service here are truly outstanding. Came here for a family dinner and we were treated so well!! Bernardo and kit truly took care of us ! This place is usually really crowded so make sure you guys get on the wait list ! The meat here is pretty good! It doesn't come out frozen at all. You can definitely taste the quality of it. They recently charged the menu so there's a $29.99 and $33.99 AYCE. They used to have senior discount but I believe they're putting it in pause till end of aug is what I was told. Definitely would come back here again!!
